Everything is Fine

Hello my Dear Friends of Spirit of Vatican II,

I am concerned that some of you may think that I am in difficulties. It is not the case. I am doing very well, but I had to choose to leave the Spirit of Vatician II "Faith Community" when I discovered that it was not an actual parish of the Diocese of Knoxville. I have forgiven Fr. Plarvik for deceiving me when I first was sent here from Kenya. I have now been assigned to a very good parish here in Knoxville and am enjoying the many things that seemed to be missing at the Spirit of Vatican II Faith Community. In particular, going to confession again has been a great joy, and I had not realized how much I missed praying the rosary with other people.

I have asked many of my fellow Kenyan priests around the country to let me know if they come across Che, Keith, or Britnee, as I know that you dearly miss these members of your community.

I would love to come and visit you, but Fr. Plarvik has banned me from the grounds, and frankly I am afraid that if I were to return, I might find myself once more in a difficult position from which I could not extricate myself. For your continued reflection, I refer you to the entirety of Cardinal Ratzinger's "The Spirit of the Liturgy" as well as to the General Instruction of the Roman Missal. You may find that reading more about what the Catholic Church is may help you in your effort to someday become a parish, although the most expeditious route to becoming a parish would be to leave Spirit of Vatican II and become a member at the new "real" Knoxville parish.

Pax vobiscum,

Fr. Juno
