Retreat!

Hey! Well, I hate to miss the Ecumenical Faith Community Picnic, but sadly I've received the call to go on Retreat in Georgia, so I'll be relying on Maryann, Sr. Fairah, Ché, and H. Robert to keep the 'blog going for the next few days. I've asked Dr. Al-fakkir to take a break from 'blogging so that he can concentrate on preparing a big welcome for our friends at the RadTrad SSLI parish.

I hope you all have a great picnic and lots of fun being church!

Hey Father Tim!

Take a break, you deserve it! Don't worry about a thing while your gone! I've invited my Scientology friends to the picnic along with the Hugo Chavez brigade. Its gonna be great to have Tom Cruise and Danny Glover at the picnic this year. EVERYBODY! Bring your backpacks and stuff to get autographed and a five dollar bill because we're going to collect for the GLBTQ club.

Fr. Tim,

I knew ye would flee from the thy impending doom, lily-livered apostate. The most vocal Modernist scum are also the most cowardly. No wonder Fr. Anderson went to Iraq, ye American heretics are too womanly to provide good sport.

Don't worry, hippie heretic, even if ye hide in the depths of Hell, I'll still sniff you out. I can smell the foul stench of your dogma from where I am sitting. Ye shall share the fate of your 'faith community' after this ill-begotten picnic.

Which reminds me--I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the picnic!!!

Cordially,
Sir Rev. Leonard Feeney, HKTTC

Yo Sir Reverand Laverne & Shirley (or whatever your name is)!--

You're a MESS. I can't tell whether you're supposed to be a pirate, a medieval wannabe, or the face of Errol Flynn fallin' into a cement mixer and comin out again as Jonathan Winters.

But I CAN say one thing: your position is very clearly about POWER and VIOLENCE. Good job, but your opinions have to be couched in terms so that the minions (oops...I mean the proletariate) will best be suckered (uh....liberated).

In other words: Though I can't profess to like your style, I SURE DO LIKE YOUR MESSAGE, Popeye!

Ye have been in the Modernist's clutches for too long--throwing about words like proletariat like thou be Marx himself. And thinking power and violence are bad things--it's like hearing an echo of that ugly Sr. Fairah herself! I abjure thee, get thee hence from the clutches of the Apostates and hie thee immediately to Fr. Chadwick. He will straighten out the errors in your thinking.

Ye be an honest knave, so I hope that ye may be yet be saved by becoming a member of the Truly True church. Godspeed to Knoxville!!

Cordially,
Sir Rev. Leonard Feeney, HKTTC

Hey NAT! Where have you been? Will you be able to make it to the picnic? I know how you're all into the Revolution and all and I met this girl who looks just like Sheila E. except she is not material at all or anything because she's really cool and where's a beret. (not like the kind I make but it's okay) and I invited her to the picnic.

OH YAH! Crusader Guy, I know how you can't meet us at Toddy's but Krystal (you know the girl into D&D and Renaissance fairs and stuff) is also coming to the picnic. She is going to have Palm Readings and a Tarot card booth and everything! I told her about you and she REALLY wants to meet you. So you've got to come.

Yo Che'!

Yeah, I've been out there freedom fighting. I'll be at the picnic. Is there room to park my Hummer? Oh and I'll be on my way to an International Fair-Trade Non-Homophobic Coffee Plantations Owners meeting, so I'll probably be in my Armani (it's tough because Bono will be there, wearing goggle shades that are more expensive than the GNP of the nations we need to provide debt relief to, so I have to be well dressed. It's for the cause).

I don't like you mocking Bono. He is concerned with the plight of many peoples of the world.

Che--my apologies on disappearing lately. I've been investigating the plight of the Aboriginal peoples. Seems the Australian government is profiling them for drinking and sex related crimes, and is placing rules specifically and only on them.
How's your back?
