Spirit of Vatican II
Spirit of Vatican II is Knoxville's hippest and most unreal faith community, considering that it does not actually exist. If it did exist, it would be located on a beautiful wooded campus in North Knoxville. SOV2 features contemporary worship and a diverse and friendly and ecologically low footprinted community. Respecting the dynamic tradition of the past we embrace change, foster and encourage each other to look beyond self and work for social justice and environmental stewardship, in solidarity with the marginalized in our society. Taking feminism as a framework for a equitable society and with conscience as our creed we confidently step out into the dawn of the third millenium.
